Harmon Clayton Killebrew (June 29, 1936 - May 17, 2011), was regarded as one of the most prolific power hitters in major league baseball history, Harmon “Killer” Killebrew amassed numbers matched only by the game’s very elite. Harmon devoted much of his time promoting hospice care and educating people on its benefits. Harmon felt it was very important for each person to understand hospice. Hospice isn’t about giving up, it’s about living life to the fullest! Please help us honor Harmon’s passion for hospice by becoming hospice aware. You might be the person who changes someone’s life by sharing the loving message of hospice. Killebrew was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in December 2010, and died five months later.
